Forms a carpet of round dark green leaves with sweet little purple and white flowers. It will grow in the shade but will flower better in dappled light or in a position where it will get some morning sun. A versatile plant which tolerates a range of conditions, from deep shade to full sun, as well as some frost. The flowers can be used as garnish and in salads.
