A hardy, naturally dense growing shrub. 'Chefs Cap' produces interesting teardrop shaped yellow-green flowers mainly in winter, with spot flowering throughout the year. A delightful wildlife attracting plant with moderate to high frost tolerance. It is found growing naturally on the NSW south coast near shady damp gullies and streams. Prefers moist, well drained soils in a partially shaded position. Excellent for use under trees or amongst larger shrubs.
