A hybrid G. confertifolia and G. sericea. Grevillea ‘Amethyst’ is a small, rounded shrub with narrow, slightly prickly foliage and masses of showy, mauve flowers mainly in spring, and spot flowering throughout the year. A hardy variety which tolerates heavy frost as well as dry periods. Looks great in the garden, as a low border or in container plantings.
